we reduced the weight of the BMW 02 by a light weight construction.
The GFK doors were built in the beginning of the 60s and 70s and were constructed especially for motor racing sports. Now these GFK doors are available again.
It is a complete and exactly fitting kit GFK doors for BMW 02 which is used in group 2 – 5 and is produced according to the original instruction of ONS/FIA
These doors (without windows) have a weight of 5,2 kg. The weight per window is 1,0 kg. So it is extremely reduced in its weight.

The doors are pre-finished with polished aluminium frame and screwed in "Makrolon" windows.
The sliding windows in every door make for fresh air.
The plastic-windows for motor racing have to be produced of a special material, called Makrolon (FIA)
Makrolon is a brand, which is legalized by FIA (POLYCARBONAT)
It is an unbreakable, crystal clear material with a ten year UV-guarantee, fire class B1, break-proof according DIN 52290, Piece 4, class A3.
Of course all neccessary mounting-parts are included in the delivery.
Each kit is checked for precision of the fit.
Due to the growing quality standards and permanent improvements in the last 30 years the material is better than ever.

Fibre glass is used in industry, handcraft and of course in the racing sport.
As each BMW 02 is different we decided to add 3 millimeter (mm) per front- and backside of the edge of the door. This allows you to grind the door according to the perfect clearance between door and fender.
Each procduct is handmade therefore please take into consideration that the delivery time takes 4-6 weeks.
